Brush Pickup Notice

The Village of Elk Rapids DPW will be collecting brush this Wednesday and Thursday (July 2 & 3).

Regular monthly pickup will also take place on Monday, July 8, as scheduled (first Monday of the month).

Residents may begin placing brush at the street starting now.

Brush Guidelines:

• Place neatly at the shoulder of the street, butt ends facing out

• Do not place in ditches

• No grass clippings, yard rakings, leaves, trash, construction materials, firewood, animal waste, vines, or garden waste

• Piles must be neat — unorganized piles will be bypassed

As a reminder, brush pickup runs monthly from April through November.
